Overview
About Me
I went a big travelling adventure after I graduated high school and have since taken to studying agriculture . I enjoy waking up early, reading, getting outside and cooking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I traveled, I sometimes relied on couch surfing. Now that I have an apartment, I'm happy giving back to the community that helped me travel despite a tight budget and very little understanding of the places I was visiting.
Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One morning in April I think, I finished reading the book Endurance which described the journey of a shipwrecked group of Englishman in the early 20th century in Antarctica. I was so inspired by how much these guys went through without dying, that I put on my running shoes and ran to the ocean. It was probably around 35 miles of running and took me the entire day. It was a rainy day and I ended up using a shitty compass I had on my watch to navigate. I remember sitting in a brackish swamp at sundown as the rain clouds finally dissipated just in time for a fiery sunset. I was 16 years old and I felt like I had gone on the most incredible adventure: crossing highways, tracing train tracks and power lines, and I think that was one of the most amazing things I've ever done because it showed me that I could make a place I've lived for 16 years feel like a wilderness to traverse.
