Overview
About Me
I am an honest (and I value honesty highly) and somewhat shy person; I have a distinct sense of humor that some people need some time for to appreciate. I am generally quite generous and caring, though I can seem nonchalant or even selfish sometimes due to oversight.
I must also say that I'm a VEGAN out of principle; happy to cook a meat- and dairy-free meal for you :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My charming roommate (whose profile you can view here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000365696/profile) and I can host two people. We have an extra mattress in our apartment, as well as a couch one can crash on.
I think couchsurfing is a wonderful way to get to know people, and to get in touch with other cultures, and hosting is very much like traveling inside one's own house.
Interests
I play the guitar and sing, music is basically an essential part of my life. I also write my own songs. I studied philosophy, which meant more than just a study to me; it becomes, as I feel it should be, a way of life. I am also very interested in literature. Among my favourite authors are Oscar Wilde, Dorothy Parker, Herman Hesse, Miguel De Unamuno, Henry Miller and Dostojevski. I also love cooking!

Seeing Anna Calvi live in an intimate setting and seeing a newborn giraffe run around in a nature reserve in South Africa.
I've busked in several places by now, but my first time by the Oberbaumbrücke in Berlin was, well, amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I do love to teach people how to play the guitar or just to do jam sessions, so these are definitely options. Apart from that, I would like to teach or share anything else that lies within my capacities.
