About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn and understand the world, to participate rather than watch.

ABOUT ME

Im out going, confident, funny, optimistic, friendly and really energetic. I love to chat to people and learn their different stories and make friends with alot of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Honestly, I live my life with passion, its only going to happen once and it takes alot to actually live and enjoy life, so I guess I'm still learning, but Im having an amazing time whilst doing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I play lots of sports, football in particular. But I enjoy anything really. The outdoors is another of my favourite things to be involved in like hiking, camping, mountain bike riding, I'l give anything a go :-)

Interests

Things that genuinely make my life engaging are the people in it. I love spending my time with those who I love and enjoying the simple things in life. I think that's what equates to a happy life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books, I love classic literature.
Wuthering Heights
The Great Gatsby
P&P....
But I also love grunge Literature also...
Music I'm open to anything, and movies its got to have a little bit of substance behind it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was travelling in Japan with my snowboard on my back totally lost on a train and a Japanese girl who I'd never met invited me to stay with her and family over Christmas and her and I went snowboarding together for 4 days throughout Northern Japan. The generosity of her family was simply incredible inviting me into their home and their culture was truly amazing. The second instance which has left me awestruck also came about in my travels when I was travelling in Laos. It was the Laos people that left me inspired. They have very little to no money, they have very little resources well certainly not the the extent we in the Western world do yet they are amongst the happiest group of people in the world. They are exceptionally friendly and willing to help you with anything, it certainly makes you realise how often you take for granted things which may seem like a privilege like running water and fresh food daily and clean clothes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I find people who have travelled are always very interesting to come across, they have so many stories and seem to have a real energy for life and meeting others.
