ABOUT ME

I love music. I love to have fun. I love intelligent conversation. I am adventurous, easy going, passionate and curious. I am and activist and an artist. Riding my bike is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I LOVE to travel, and learning languages. I speak spanish and french, and a bit of Wolof. After traveling the world I finally made my home in San Francisco, I love it here quite a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've really only been active on here the last couple months despite having a profile for a couple years. I've had the pleasure of being able to host folks passing though San Francisco, and so far it's been a blast.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my travels I have received a lot from folks I've met a long the way, so it feels really great for me to have an opportunity now to give back to the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson or the Coen brothers , Pan's Labyrinth, Holy Mountain, Anchorman, Snakes on a Train, A Scanner Darkly, Santa's Slay, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Sin City, Y Tu Mama Tambien, 2010: Moby Dick
Music: Hot Chip. Also, Hot Chip. Seriously though I just saw them live again and it only reinforced why I have no shame in calling them my favorite band. And I'm REALLY not good at picking favorites... Other things I love include Immortal Technique, The Roots, Blackstar, Brother Ali, MF DOOM, Aesop Rock, Die Antwoord, Prefuse 73, Radiohead, Talking Heads, Battles, David Bowie, Fela Kuti, Cheik Lo, Daara J Family, Common, El Bicho, Del the Funky Homosapien, Manu Chao, Turbulence, Of Montreal, Burning Spear, John Legend...just to name a few
Books: I read A LOT. Tom Robbins, Kerouac, Issac Asimov, Kurt Vonnegut, Barbara Kingsolver, John Irving and Michael Pollan are a few of my favorite authors, but I'll give most anything a try. Confessions of an Economic Hitman and Ismael are MUST reads in my world. Oh I also read the Song of Ice and Fire books recently and LOVED them (the series A Game of Thrones was based on)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
