About Me
Sorry guys and gals. Circumstances have changed some, so I’m not able to host atm. Please feel free to check out my profile though. I’ve got a list of things to do, see, and eats. Let me know if I can help outside of hosting!
I’m a 30 year old Licensed Massage Therapist. I love being active and outdoors! Motorcycles, cycling, kayaking, hiking, I’m up for it! I find myself unattached and interested in traveling. Seems like the best way to find those out of the way places only locals know about is too meet locals! Get to know you and your favorite parts of town! Animal lover here. The introvert in me is very happy about meeting small groups of new people in a more relaxed environment. PS not interested in a hookup.
While planning my trip to the UK and Norway one of my clients mentioned Couchsurfing. His nephew does it all the time. At first I’m like ‘who’s let’s strangers into their house? Gotta be crazy people.’ I decided to host before committing to surfing on my trip. Well, my trip has been postponed because of COVID, but it turns out I really enjoy hosting. While not everyone’s personalities have made for 100% smooth sailing, there have been only positive experiences hosting. That has made me more excited to surf when I do finally get to travel! Joining was originally intended for my UK trip, but I’ll definitely be trying to surf even on trips closer to home.
I’m just getting to where I can talk about this openly, but hosting has unexpectedly been a bridge to me getting back out into the world, meeting new friends, and opening up to people after the passing of my husband in 2019. So to everyone I have and will meet: thank you for walking with me for a little while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I found out about Couchsurfing through a client when I mentioned planning a trip to the UK. Must admit I was skeptical at first. It’s turned out to be really great though. I’ve met and gotten to know a little about people I never would have met otherwise, and from places I’ve never been. I’ve now hosted a few people and showing them around or at least pointing them towards my favorite places or places they might enjoy. Hoping the hosts on my future trips will do the same.

Music, Movies, and Books
Country, old school Rock and Roll, folk, just about any kind of music, though the head banging stuff I’ll leave for others.
I don’t understand this question... how are we supposed to pick our favorites when there are SO MANY good movies and books out there?
How about this?
I’m currently listening to Crown of Feathers; recovering emotionally from Throne of Glass; will always love Wheel of Time, Dragon Rider’s of Pern, and Interview With a Vampire, Pride and Prejudice.
I don’t typically sit down long enough to watch a full length movie. I don’t even have a TV anymore. The last movie I watched was How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World. Yes, the child in me came out.
Zorro, A Knight’s Tale, Green Mile, The Patriot, should I keep going?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped out of a perfectly good airplane! More than once, and hope to do it again 😁
What I Can Share with Hosts
Though I may not have the travel experience and stories more experienced surfers could share, I believe everyone has their own meaningful experiences as they journey through life. I’d like to share those with you and hear some of yours in return.
