About Me

I'm a typical California lady that loves sunshine, the beach and anything outdoors. My favorite things to do are hike, make art, listen to/make music, try any and all foods and get to know new people. I love to chill and just talk, but while traveling I enjoy going out and meeting people. I'm also very independent and practiced martial arts for 11 years so I feel pretty comfortable as a woman traveling solo. I am super friendly and have lived with many different people, so I am very easy-going and can get along with pretty much anyone !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling with two friends this summer who are equally outgoing and interested in having a good time. I'm certainly traveling on a budget and feel like this is a great way to meet people and save money at the same time. I love the hostel lifestyle but I thought I would try something new as I am young and not very picky about where I stay during travel. Also, I spent the last 5 months studying in Spain and studied French for 4 years so I would love to practice those languages during the summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love so many different genres of music that it's hard to pick any one song or artist. My favorite genres (depending on my mood) are house, EDM, R&B, funk, and alternative.
Scary movies are hands down my favorite (I've seen too many) but my favorite director is probably Wes Anderson.
I'm a student so unfortunately I don't spend enough time reading for pleasure, but I love books on mindfulness/mental health and always enjoy the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh.

I performed at the Notre-Dame de Paris four years ago 🌟 and earned my black belt in Isshin-ryu karate .
