About Me
CURRENT MISSION
see and do as much as possible; meet amazing people; have adventures
ABOUT ME
I like to meet new people and learn more about their lives. I like to read and go exploring, I'm a fan of dancing and going out, I cook really well and I like finding out what people like to eat and making it for them. I'm pretty nerdy but I also really really like playing outside and doing things with my hands. Ideally, if I could work at a bakery half the time, and a lobbying firm the other half, and go hiking on the weekends, that would probably be a perfect life.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life because I love to be alive. Life's just interesting. and really fun. and ridiculous and wonderful all at once.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests
I love people and playing outside. I also really love the production and circumstance of food... I like finding out how things are grown, how things are made, and why different people like different foods. I also pretty much am always interested in how and why things work the way they do, which can range from a car engine to a political system, to- I don't know- how movies are edited. The most important aspect of life, though, is who is in it.

Music, Movies, and Books
anything by Doris Lessing or MFK Fisher, An Everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler, About Grace by Anthony Doerr
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Mt Doom in New Zealand! Ok actually it's called Nguarahoe, but. It was a difficult climb straight up in essentially a foot of dust which shifted every step you took, making the climb that much more challenging. But the views were absolutely incredible, and the feeling of being on the summit above the clouds looking out over the Tongariro crossing and the emerald lakes was unparalleled.
Teach, Learn, Share
It's always handy to travel with earplugs, nail clippers, a sewing kit, and a few packets of instant coffee.
