I’m a workaholic who loves to take the time off to explore and travel. I work for an primary school district during the day, waitress on the weekends, and go to school full time... and I still get plenty of time to travel ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to try a different way of traveling, and to be honest save a buck as these hostels can get expensive for long term traveling. I’ve lived abroad, stayed in hostels, B&Bs, *finally* hotels, and they all have something great to offer, but I’d like a more authentic approach to recommendations on site seeing/what to do/where to eat kinda thing.

Interests

Anything outdoors. I love to drive to serene places when things get chaotic. Just as much as I love setting up camp on the bed of my truck on a cliff, I enjoy getting dolled up and going out for a night in the city. I should say I enjoy the idea of it since I don't necessarily go out much anymore. I’ve come to an age where I prefer having coffee and a good read or binging on my favorite Netflix series over going out haha. Trying to change that as I get older.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. Not a savvy though, so don’t ask me to name that song. On an 80s binge at the moment, love Spanish music of all types especially románticas, rancheras, and rock en español.
