About Me

I'm a dog person and a vegetarian. I just want to see the world, meet its people, and eat its food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Only surfed so far, but all my experiences have been positive!

Interests

I love to explore and get to know new people and places, getting lost in a foreign city, hiking through the wilderness, or sitting down with someone over drinks, whether cañas or caffeine. I read constantly, write and draw (poorly), and I really enjoy cooking and baking. Music is really important to me; although I can't play any instruments myself right now, going to concerts is when I'm happiest.

The world is a big place and I want to see as much of it as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coolest things I've ever done: following my favorite band on tour across Europe and becoming friends with them, meeting the indigenous Mayan people in Belize and staying with them in the jungle, swimming with sea turtles in Okinawa, sunrise safari in the Serengeti

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English professionally and I'm pretty decent at baking. I'm trying to learn guitar and sometimes I can remember how to make origami swans.

Hoping to do a WWOOFing/Workaway experience soon, and would like to learn about organic farming and sustainable living!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, vegetarian food. I'll buy the wine!
