I'm going to be honest, I'm very new to this whole couch surfing thing and hadn't really heard about it until I lived in Europe! But I'd like to give it a shot and host as well when I'm back in the U.S.! :)

I'm a small town girl from McPherson, Kansas in the USA who has lived mostly in Kansas. I recently was living and working in Frankfurt but decided I really wanted to spend some time traveling around Europe for about 2 months..so that's what I'm doing! I currently am not able to host as I don't have my own place yet back in Kansas...but hopefully soon I will be able to host! :)

I'm friendly, easy going(which generally means if you have an idea, I'll be down for it), always laughing and smiling, always up for trying something new, i love good food and good wine (I've been trying to enjoy beer more), I like running (I'm not always good at running when traveling but when I'm home I could run every day), I love taking pictures (my friends just expect me to do all the picture taking usually. :)), I love spending time with my friends and family and love getting to meet new people, I enjoy going out but I also really enjoy just getting to have meaningful and fun one on one conversations, and am good at making anything fun!

I thought it'd be a great way for me to meet people and travel throughout Europe. :)

Interests

I enjoy running (I've done a half marathon and a marathon), I enjoy anything outdoors - whether that's hiking, biking, kayaking, trying to surf (unfortunately I don't live anywhere near the ocean, so my surfing skills are kind of not existent)...etc., I enjoy writing (mostly about my life and my adventures), hanging out with family and friends, traveling and having a glass or two of wine. :)

I like almost all genres, I especially like pop, country and oldies.

I grew up in a small town where country is what everyone listens to it...so it's became one of my favorite genres. ;)

I currently really enjoy Ed Sheeran, Thompson Square, Thomas Rhett, The Avett Brothers, The Beatles...etc.

I'm kind of cheesy movie watcher - essentially loving chick flicks with happy ending. Cliche, I know. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed a marathon by myself - it was no Boston marathon time but it was pretty awesome.
Moved to Germany for the heck of it to teach English at a kindergarten. :)
