I'm from Canada and I've been living in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for about 2 years. I'm a vegetarian and an anthropologist at heart, I love to meet people from other countries and talk about cultural differences.

Intereses

I'm an extroverted introvert. I'm quiet and a party animal at the same time. I enjoy spending an afternoon reading at the beach, going for a coffee or a beer (no wine please!) with friends or partying all night.

I have a bachelor's degree in anthropology (specialized in anthropological linguistics) so I really enjoy anything related to the field: languages, linguistics, archeology, ethnology, museums... I was taught that almost everything is cultural and that culture defines a big part of ourselves; we can get a better understanding of others just by learning about their culture. That's why I love it!

I have very eclectic tastes and Netflix is a good friend of mine. I like series better than movies and I absolutely hate electronic music.

I stood right on the edge of the crater of an active volcano (with boiling lava!).
I went volcano boarding.
I held a baby sloth and a howler monkey in my arms.
Baby camel! No need to say more!
I quit my job while I was in Costa Rica because I wanted to stay longer.

I can teach French (Canadian) and English. I need to work on my Spanish and Italian. I'm always happy to talk about traveling and culture.
