About Me

Hello! I am a naturalistic design artist who cashiers by day, and in my free time I make soap, drink wine & craft beer, and care for my lovely kitten, Zelda.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to travel! I haven't got out of the country much since they began requiring passports to go to Mexico and Canada. It is time to get back on it!

Interests

Soap, Music (EVERY KIND), Art in all its glorious forms, Moshing, Skulls, Flowers, Nature in general really, Movies, Television Trivia, Beauty, Swimming, GoKarts... This list is getting quite long, so suffice to say I will try anything once, and there aren't many things I have found to be joyless.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love gypsy punk, hard rock, death metal, house, trance, trip-hop, symphony, opera, musicals, country-western, banda, international rock, reggae, punk, alternative, and folk. I prefer action movies, musicals, children's films, indie flicks, documentaries (particularly pertaining to food, travel, and history), and science fiction. Alice in Wonderland is my #1 book, movie, media of all time! I also love Mercedes Lackey as an author, both for her strong female leads and her unconventional fantastic characters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It should not be this difficult to decide what to write. I always have my home and heart open to people and animals. I have cared for the sick, the elderly, the infirmed, and the occasional lunatic. Friends who found themselves homeless found a home with me, and some of them are now family. I cannot pin down just one amazing thing, because that would discount the rest of the life I have lived.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn how to create soap, or micro-garden, or perhaps learn French cooking, I am the person to ask. I would love to learn other styles of cooking, how to play the guitar, and strengthen the language skills I possess. Share your stories, your images, your life!!!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Random trivia, a big heart, a passion for really good food, ridiculous levels of curiosity about everything. Ever.
