My name is Jessica Carroll. I’m an 18 year old student finishing up my a-levels and I am planning on taking a gap year to France! I would love to work with you guys! I currently volunteer at Red Cross when I can and volunteer at Autism Guernsey (local youth centre working with autistic children) weekly . Prior to that I Volunteered at Oxfam and worked in customer services for Waitrose, Admiral Park. I learnt a lot of social skills when it comes to being friendly and enthusiastic to customers and I hope to apply it to the career I’m looking to work in, counselling.
I have worked and loved working with a variety of different people; it brought me out of my shell and i’d love to continue doing so.

I've helped children at this youth group (autism guernsey) open up about their feelings and helped them to make friends with each other whereas before they felt pretty inadequate i guess? isolated maybe.
