About Me

I am an Extroverted Introvert. I love to socialize and meet new people and experience new things, however sometimes I work better in a smaller group and need to be able to have my time to self reflect.
I love to have all different people around that challenge me and teach me new things.
This world is so guarded and fearful, I appreciate honestly and rawness so much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner has been couchsurfing for some time and we have had many people come through and stay with us. It has been a great experience and I have made some amazing connections. I look forward to experiencing couchsurfing from the other perspective and meeting some awesome people on my travels this year.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Anything really, mostly stuff that can get you up moving.
Movies - Action and comedy. Not a huge fan of horror, I’m usually the one hiding under the blanket.
Books - I find it hard to get into books but when I love something I will read it over and over again. I usually find that I read things that are suggested by friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What is amazing to me might not be that amazing compared to someone else but here is what I have considered amazing in my life so far.
I moved to Canada in 2010, not knowing anyone or with any plans really. For me this was the biggest challenge and took me completely out of my comfort zone. I have met some of the most life changing people living here and have always been proud of my leap. I look forward to packing up and doing this again. I feel that’s what has been most amazing about my life, the times when I have no plan and decide that it’s the time to do something out of my comfort zone.
During my time in Canada I have done so many amazing things but the one that stands out the most is Burning Man. I have built large and small projects and lived for weeks in a place that tests your limits both physically and emotionally. I have loved the person that it challenges me to be.
