Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to give couchsurfing a shot because I'm planning a big trip overseas and really can't afford a hotel. That's the practical reason.
The social, cultural reason is that, even if I shy, I get lonely in a strange city and letting new people always puts a smile on my face !
