About Me

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I was born and raised in Hawaii! I recently lived and taught English in Seoul, South Korea for 5 years and I'm currently in the process to depart for the Peace Corps! 😊 I've been living in Washington, DC for the past year working at Trader Joe's and volunteering at a hostel called U Street Capsule Hostel. I have experience backpacking and solo traveling throughout Asia and Southeast Asia, so work exchange in hostels was how I was able to afford my international travels. I want the opportunity to start couchsurfing and meeting new people on my future travels here in America, and throughout Europe and Asia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to explore more places in America, Europe, and Asia before I depart for the Peace Corps! 😄

Interests

I was born in Hawaii and grew up in a Navy family, which took us all over the world. I'm Mexican, Spanish, Samoan and Irish and I love to talk to people about my culture and learn about others. It's nice to build peace with people from some of the most diverse cultures than my own✌

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm friendly, outgoing, and respectful. I would love the opportunity to help clean or take care of any tasks around the house that need to be done. I like to talk, have fun, and always laugh, which is why I value the relationships I build with people I meet along the way.
