I was teaching on a little island in South Korea for the past two and a half years, which is also where I started performing music for the first time. I continued to teach, and eventually I finished my second teaching contract to concentrate entirely on music (well, mostly entirely).

I played plenty of gigs (little shows, and larger festivals).
But... it just wasn't enough!

I decided to return stateside a couple of months ago at first to visit with family and friends, both new and old.

Well, it didn't take long for me to get it in my head that I might venture out to California and see what it was like here... I still think a small part of me knew all along what I was planning to do here.

I was passing through L.A. (my first time ever!) and I found that I had opportunities to play music here. I continued heading north to think about what those opportunities could mean for me (and to follow practical potentials to earn some cash).

I came back to L.A. and played my first two shows here, but then had to head north again to work. And... Now I'll be in L.A. for a good bit it seems!

I'm here to meet new people (and when I have a place of my own), to host those who are just willing to put themselves in a new environment and figure out the rest later.

Music! I can teach ya some rudimentary things on guitar, or just give a little private concert (no "Wonder Wall," though... I promise)

Jokes! I'm a pretty hearty laugher and fancy myself a bit of a comedian.

Bedtime stories! It's something of a tradition I started with a couple of friends a while ago. When one of us was feeling particularly down or sick, the others of us would take turns reading to the ailed from whatever book they chose.

Keeping it clean! I don't mind picking up a few things around the house, washing dishes, or vacuuming- it's the least I can do for your gracious hospitality!
