Overview
About Me
Hi, My name is Jessica from the Netherlands. I am an open minded person who is always in for something new to learn or to try. I am very adventurous and I like the outdoors. I am an easy going person who is interested in meeting new cool people, with different cultures and nationalities!
I am back in the Netherlands in my home town Groningen. I was away for a year in Canada. I had a very good experience in Canada and I stayed with some friendly Canadian couchsurfing hosts. From now I am living in my apartment again and I am more then happy to host great people, to show you around in the students city Groningen.
I have been traveling and volunteering a lot in several countries, so I know how it is to stay in different places and meet new people. I am very respectful towards other cultures or traditions.
Would you be my new host to have great new memories and fantastic new experiences?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like traveling and meeting new interesting people and with couch surfing its a very good way to meet the local people and to find the awesome spots in a city/place! I think its a great concept, sharing is caring! It also makes traveling a little bit easier.
Interests
In my free time I like to go on camping trips, snowboarding, listen to music, hiking, swimming, playing volleyball, campfires, drawing, yoga, making bracelets and extreme outdoor activities. I am always in to do something (new)!
I am also very interested in going to different festivals and get to know new music.
I like to go explore around in a new city and to find cool bars to have a beer or a typical local drink ;) or to eat something.

Teach, Learn, Share
When I go back to the Netherlands, I am planning to do a course for Teaching English as a Foreign language, so I can always teach you a little English ( if needed).
For myself I really like the Spanish language and I speak it a little bit, but I would love to learn more Spanish.
Also I am interested to learn more about drawing or playing an instrument.
You are more then welcome to make some music in my house!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have an cozy apartment in Groningen Students city and I live there with my cat Buddy.
My apartment has two sleeping rooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. So there is always room on my couch or in the extra sleeping room, if I have time.
Its quite close to the city centre and I like to explore new parties etc. So maybe if you are keen, you can explore too. If we have a good connection, we can always cook a meal together or something. But Yeah I guess we just see how it goes.
