About Me

Hello there! A bit about me... am an ambitious technologist, a bookworm, and enjoy trying new foods, activities, and meeting people. I like to keep myself very busy and push my limits. Makes life all that more exciting. Always up for a great intellectual conversation. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Used airbnb a decent amount while traveling around and loved meeting locals and fellow travelers through it. Hope to do the same with Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies, I enjoyed Pulp Fiction, the Usual Suspects, Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, The Pianist, and Lord of the Rings.

For music, I like most genres except for country. Some of my favorite artists are Carousel, Blackmill, Of Monsters and Men, and Passion Pit.

BOOKS! My favorites are Like Water for Chocolate (magical realism), The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, the Martian Chronicles, Freakonomics, Outliers (or any Malcolm Gladwell books), and the Steve Jobs bio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Love neuroscience and have learned a lot about Alzheimers disease and Multiple Sclerosis from a biomedical perspective through my lab research projects.

Teach, Learn, Share

Still have so much to learn and so little time, but we have to start somewhere, don't we?

I come from a computer science/tech background, so would love to share thoughts on technology, startups, and entrepreneurship. Also down to cook and know some authentic Shandong (northern Chinese) recipes that my mom taught me. Yummy!
