About Me
I like to make things and chat with interesting people. I'm a Canadian living in Prague for the last year and a half and I'm soaking up central europe's location to try and travel as much as I can. Life is an adventure :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Balkan music, varieties of electronic, bluegrass, 70's rocks and anything with an accordion (clarinet is a bonus!) Guilty love of Mika. He's awesome!
Film. Black comedies (think cohen brothers), documentaries, mockumentaries, and Charlie Chaplin films. Breakfast at Tiffany's is also a favorite. Not a fan of horror, this overactive imagination just can't handle it. I love the muppets! and this Canadian sketch comedy from the 90's called "kids in the hall". Great stuff!
Books. I love Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut and Jeanette Winterson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made a giant wire sculpture ant with a group of tiny children.
Currently in the planning stages to open a forest/art school back in Canada! Set to open in September :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an art history grad and I love talking about the history of a culture based on the art that they create at different time periods. I love learning a bit about the history of the places that I visit.
Big fan of urban sketching and I always carry a sketchbook (or 2 or 3) and a stash of pens, markers and paint! I'm an art/English teacher and would love to learn/offer some drawing tips and tricks! Share ideas over a pint?
What I Can Share with Hosts
The recipe for 2 amazing Czech soups, if you're into painting, I'm happy to gift you one of these tiny watercolour sets from the Czech Republic. Super compact, amazing design, cheap and the best paints I've ever used. :)
Happy to share great conversation over drinks!
