Hi all! I'm Jess. I'm a youth worker (I work in residential care facilities) and live about an hour and a half south of Sydney with my family.

I did an amazing 10 month trip that took me all over the world from May '15 - March '16, and am now once again saving for the next trip which I'm planning for 2018/9 - 2020. Current goal is to hit 100 countries by the time I'm 30. Only 77 countries and 4 years to go...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Half because I've always wanted to Couchsurf around the world and meet new people and get the local insider knowledge on the places I go and be able to offer a couch in my place when I eventually have the space... half because when I travel I'm a poor backpacker and do try to save money as often as possible.

Not big on TV and movies, and I like to read but don't do so often because I'm the kind of person that can put finishing a good book before anything else, like eating or doing constructive things with my life.

Love my music though and listen to a bit of pretty much everything, though rock tops the list.
