Overview
About Me
I'm a Canadian living in the United States. I like good food, good music, and good people. I like finding myself in crazy situations, and laughing about how I got there. I work at a hospital delivering babies and I absolutely adore my job.
Marcus is my boyfriend and he's my favorite thing about Atlanta ;) We live together so really you're surfing his couch too. Hes a photographer and likes all the same things I do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is as good as it gets... really. To meet a stranger from a different culture and be international lifelong friends 30 seconds later? Yes, please.
I love that we all share the common interests of seeing the world and meeting new people... without spending thousands of dollars on lonely and impersonal touristy hotels.
100% honesty? I believe if everybody couchsurfed, there would be world peace. That's as cheesy as it gets, I realize.
Interests
I love being outside in the sun....Hiking, exploring, meeting new people, drinking with old and new friends, and bringing heavy books with smart titles to the beach or pool only to fall asleep halfway through the first page.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Ed Sheeran, Amos Lee, anything chill and relaxing...
Movies: Into the Wild (Is that too cliche for a CS profile?)
Books: The Great Gatsby
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three things that are at the top of my list:
1) Trekking on a camel through the Sahara and camping out in the sand under the stars.
2) Riding on a motorcycle at stupid speeds around mountains in the south of France
3) Sailing on the British Defender around the Whitsundays with 30 new and awesome friends from around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me whatever you know that I don't.
I have two dogs... so if you stay here you better really love cuddles and you better really not mind if your clothes are full of hair :D Henry the cat also roams around passing out dirty looks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some wine and cheese? Beer? Cocktail?
A game of Frisbee? A wonderfully unclean round of Cards Against Humanity...?
And of course, conversation. The best conversations come from couchsurfers... hands down.
