About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I visited Beirut recently and stayed with friends of friends, on the sofa, and it was great. It really gives you more that feeling of living in a place, I think, rather than hosteling. Plus you shortcut finding all the best places in a city!
Music, Movies, and Books
I am really loving what I'm listening to at the moment, particularly Neha Bhasin, Oum, Salif Keita and Alsarah and the Nubatones. Mashrou' Leila I love, as much for their political views and intelligence as the music itself.
And then I've always listened to a lot of rap/hip hop, Noname is a lady I love, as well as Blu & Exile. But all in all its a melting pot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived for a year in Rabat, Morocco studying French, Arabic and Political Science. I spent too much time in cafes, which I adored. Me and my coloc would sit on our balcony and talk and talk for hours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
