I am a small town girl that discovered how big and interesting the world can be if you open yourself up for all kinds of different people and experiences. I haven't stopped traveling since... Couch surfing is such an experience, I guess.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I got on an aeroplane, was to move to another country, alone, at age 18. Definitely a 'no-turning-back' defining moment with an incredible ripple effect.

I returned to South Africa for university and explored every province of my own country - there is still so much to see and explore... I did squeeze in some international back-packing trips as well and that ended up bringing me to share life in France for the moment.

I am a great listener, an enthusiastic hopefully open-minded thinker (a good bottle of red never hurts), a fairly decent cook, easily entertained and very low-maintenance guest.
