Hi! My life goal is to spread happiness and I do that by trying to be positive, upbeat and always smiling. I love meeting new people and new experiences. I grew up 20 minutes north of Boston and went to University of Massachusetts Amherst for Nursing. I have a younger sister still in college and older brother who is in medical school. After school I wanted to go on an adventure so I left all my friends and family behind and moved to Denver, not knowing anyone and never having been there before. I am so thankful I had the guts to follow through with a major life change because I love Denver and coming out alone has made me try things I would have never tried before.

I am on couch surfing to step further out of my comfort zone and to add another layer of adventure to traveling. I value the local approach. I think there's no better way to experience a new place than with a local to show you around all the best spots. I'm hoping to make some new friends and open my eyes to other ways of life.

I love Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, Hozier, Francis and the Lights, Lake Street Dive, Avett Brothers and the like. Chill alternative music is my usual go to but I will listen to anything for the most part. Concerts are where I feel most alive! Favorite classic movie is Mary Poppins. Also love Fargo and anything directed by Wes Anderson. I love movies, I'm working on watching the top 100 movies of all time. Best category on Netflix is critically acclaimed and Oscar season is my favorite season. Favorite book is the Book Thief. Also love Harry Potter, Girl on the Train, and self help books like Magical Art of Tidying Up.

I flew a plane to Long Island from Boston (minus the landing part). Another life goal of mine is to become a pilot, hopefully before the age of 30!
