Hi, I'm Jess! I've been told I am very easy going, open minded and fun. I started traveling abroad for extended periods of time last year in Cape Town and became addicted to travel. The world is too big to stay in one place all of your life. A bit cliche, but I travel to experience new places, make connections with people around the world, and broaden my horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the Couch Surfer mentality of helping fellow travelers out and getting to know locals from different places you visit. I've just started using it more seriously while traveling in Europe and it has made my experiences that much better.

My music taste varies from Pop, Alternative, Rock, and Country. I'm a sucker for a good rom-com, but the shows that come to mind are How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Criminal Minds, etc. My favorite book is The Alchemist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, jumping the Bloukran's Bungee Bridge in South Africa! Also quitting my job in the US to travel for 6+ months has been pretty amazing!
