About Me

In daily live I'm a student studying Dutch sign language to become a sign language interpreter. And no, sign language is not an international language. ;)

I give you some more info. how long it takes to get at my place and how much it will cost. See 'My Home'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurf experience was in November 2015 in Berlin and I really liked it! My friend introduced me to this new way of life while traveling. I love the idea that people are open minded in there way of life. That's what I think of people who are involved with Couchsurfing. So love to have a good conversation or to chit chat, making fun and just share the days you're among people because everyone has a story.

Still I need to host people but I'm planning to do that when I come home after my stay in America. Because I love to open up my house for you to give you a really nice Holland experience.

Interests

Of course traveling. Nothing new here right ;)
Sports: hiking, swimming, rollerblading. I could say cycling is a sport but when you're Dutch it's just to get from A to B. Easy here because the landscape is flat and everything is really close by. Okay maybe Limburg the Southern part of my country has some hills.

Love to dance salsa and bachata so if there is a party to go to and I have time I love to go. My roommate loves it as well.

Sign Language is one of my passions and learning the Dutch sign language to become an interpreter. Really I can talk or sign about this for hours and love to learn you some basics of the Dutch sign language.

Salsa is one of those new things I try to learn. As a kid I always danced in the living room or what I heard from my dad I danced as a 3 year old on the street when I heard street performers making music. So I took some lessons but the best way to learn something new just to do it and dance with people who have more experience. I don't have to be the best to enjoy salsa. The most important part is that I love to dance and just do it because I think it's fun.
