About Me

Hi there! I'm Jess. I am 33 years old, and I am embarking on a solo cross-country trip in my van. I leave in October, and would love to meet kindred spirits along the way.

I will be posting my trips as I plan and figure them out, so please let me know if you have any questions, tips, or comments. Thank you! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel full time, and it can get SO lonely. I am a genuine person, and believe that the universe has a way of bringing people into your life for different reasons snd seasons. I have hopes of making real connections, and faith that there is something deeper that binds us all to one another, if we have eyes to see. We are all connected, and we are here to awaken. Together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Overcome

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and an Associate degree in French.

I can teach you how to read, write, and record music using Logic Pro (although I am not a pro).

I volunteered teaching GED courses at a woman's shelter for some time. I also taught piano to children for a year. I once had dreams of teaching high school or college prior to COVID. Now the American educational system scares the sh*t out of me.

I view myself as more of a student than a teacher. One day I will be the master, but now I am just the young padawan! What can I learn from you?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Genuine friendship, conversation, understanding, and laughter. I seek only an authentic reality.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
