Connecting with people in a place brings that place alive in a way that staying in a chain hotel downtown never can.

I love nothing more than showing people the nooks and crannies of where I live and am so happy when someone gives me the gift of showing us around where they live in exchange.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked 1,000 miles around the east coast of Australia when I was in my early 20's. Bonus amazing thing: I got to sit atop one of over 4,000 temples in Bagan, Burma. WOW.
