Hello! My name is Jessica I am from Hong Kong and studying Business Management in the UK since 2013. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am living in a house sharing with other girls so I am not able to accept guest during school days.
I love to chat with locals when I go travel since I think it is the best way for me to understand the culture of that place. CouchSurfing provide me chances to learn more and know more about different culture.
I experienced CouchSurfing with my friend Kelsey during our Northern Europe trip last Christmas and I found it was an amazing experience. Then, I decided to join CouchSurfing before my next trip!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Many, I love to watch different kinds of movie. Recently my favourite would be inside out! I know it's a cartoon but it seems more suitable for adults to watch this movie and remind their childhood.

Music:
To be honest, it depends on my mood haha. I prefer jazz when I am relax and pop songs when I need some motivation. I guess you know what I mean :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participating in Warwick Jailbreak last year, which is a fund raising event that all participants started in the Uni and travelled to places as far as we can without money. I formed a team with my friends and we successfully hitchhike to Brussel Europe. I can still remember how excited we were when we successfully persuaded a driver to drive us to somewhere near London after many attempts and the night slept on the street. Luckily, after that a driver agreed to give us a lift to Brussel before the dawn!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
My mother tongue Cantonese and I can speak Mandarin as well but I can't guarantee that I can teach you perfect Mandarin! :p

Learn:
Basically everything. I am new to all culture, languages (except English, Cantonese and Mandarin of course haha) and I am keen to know more.

Share:
Um... The culture of Hong Kong which is quite unique I believe. Also I can share my study life in UK with you for example how I get use to the bad weather in England

I love to cook maybe I should say that I need to cook for survival when studying aboard! Maybe I can cook and share some Hong Kong food for you if you are interested in it!
