Overview
About Me
Having grown up in the Rocky Mountains, I'm most at home when skiing, rock climbing, hiking or camping. I also love music; I played guitar and sang in a bluegrass band throughout college. I graduated from college in May. After working at a non-profit in Denver, CO. for the summer, I packed my life into a backpack and took off for South America with one of my best friends from childhood. We figure this would be the best time to travel - seeing as we don't yet have careers or families tying us down. Entering into a new phase of life, this journey is largely focused on self-growth and expanding our understanding of new people, cultures and landscapes. I hope that the challenge and adventure of traveling for 6+ months will arm us with a more open, easygoing and self assured mindset upon returning to our beloved Colorado!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Truth be told, we are on a tight budget during our travels. However, another huge draw of couch surfing is meeting new people from the areas that we travel to. There is no better way to get to know a new city than through the eyes of a local there :)
Interests
Rock climbing, hiking, camping, skiing, playing music, traveling, hot springs, learning new languages, dancing (although I'm very bad at it) and baking!
