About Me
Bonjour! I'm a student studying abroad in Toulouse, France right now and working to improve my French. I grew up in small town Wyoming, and go to school to one of the most beautiful universities in the U.S. in Missoula, MT. I love adventures and I've enjoyed exploring Europe so far. I like all different types of cuisines, the great outdoors, and laughing and making new friends!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard about couchsurfing right before I came to Europe and though it was a brilliant way to be able to get to know a city I knew nothing about, and meet new friends. I like the idea of having a local to show me around, and though I do not have a space that allows me to host right now, I'd love to in the future.
Interests
My hometown and university town are nestled in the mountians, so I love anything to do with the outdoors. I love water too- lakes, streams, rivers, the ocean. It's very fun to experiment with different types of food in the kitchen, and I enjoy reading and watching movies when I have the time. I study chemistry back in the U.S.; I love learning new things and challenges. I'm generally up to try anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to a wide variety of music- but I enjoy alternative, music from my dad's generation, folk, jazz, country, and some pop. I also love soundtracks and jazz piano. The same goes for movies and books- I tend to read things from multiple genres and watch movies of all sorts, though I especially like action movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This last semester I spend a weekend hiking in the Midi-Pyrennes and stayed overnight at a refuge in the middle of the mountains. Over the course of the weekend we hiked through snow and then back down into the valley where the leaves were still changing. It was an incredible experience. And for my 21st birthday I went sky-diving over the Flathead Lake Valley in Montana. (Look it up- it's beautiful!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to bake or cook for my hosts something typical from America that they may not have tried or eaten homemade. And if hosts ever find themselves near Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, I'd be happy to take them through the park!
