I am saving up for a big trip to Europe and I'm super excited for it! I cant wait to see part of the world!

ABOUT ME

People tend to say I am a caring thoughtful person. At first I can be quite shy and quiet but once you get to know me you will soon realize, that is not the case. I have a witty but sometimes dry sense of humor and love to dish and take jokes. I love to stay connected! I have a strong value in loyalty and wanting to make everyone feel special. I love seeing the good in someone which can be extremely benificial or harmful depending on the situation. Something everyone I know would say, even if they didnt know me for very long is that i love sports! It has been extremely important in my life and has greatly effected me throughout my life.

Interests

I love sports, art and music. These I would consider to be my main "hobbies". Throughout highschool I played almost every sport out there and ended up going into college basketball after. I love watching sports as well! I am a huge hockey fan! For art, I love to paint and draw. Even though I don't get to do much anymore I still really enjoy it. With Music I love to play my guitar and violin, I also have a wide selection of music I like to listen to. These would be considered my hobbies but I also have great passions as well. I have a huge heart for injustice and that is what I want to spend my life preventing. I especially have a heart for children and making sure they are safe. Every summer I work at a bible camp and have amazing experiances in this area.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music. My favorite genre would have to be country and indie/Folk. I absolutely love City and Color. I don't tend to get to picky when it comes to music except for a lot of the pop that is out there is not for me.

I love movies and tv, i'm usually down to watch anything. At the moment my favorite movies would have to be The Help, Inception, or any superhero movie. (Well the good ones anyways).

Ted Dekker is probably my favorite author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Grade 11 I went on a missions trip to Costa Rica, I loved it. It was amazing to see a whole different world than the one I came from. I loved being able to help the people and learn a whole new culture.
I live in East Vancouver so the things I see down there and hear about always make me longing to help. My school went and helped down there and the things we learnt about the people was definitely new to me. That for sure changed me opinion and mind about what goes on down there.
Working at camp is probably something that has effected my life the most. It has helped me grow in my relationship with God and also helped me realize what a heart he has given me for children. It has pushed me until i emotionally and physically cant do it anymore but I have to keep going. It teaches you how to be selfless and love these kids that may not return it. Also it has given great perspective on how if you know more about a person and there life, the more patiences you will have with them.

Also this is kind of a joking one, but meeting Canucks and going to hockey games always leave me awestruck ;)
