About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live without fear of the immensity of it all and instead cherish the randomness and beauty of this wonderful planet
ABOUT ME
I'm open-minded, relatively intelligent and occasionally funny. I'm interested in pretty much everything and everyone, which makes it very difficult to stay attached to any one thing for too long. I really love people but they also scare the shit out of me. I enjoy meeting randos from different backgrounds who can show me something new and who are interested in me as well. I lived and taught English in Spain for three years, which was been the best experience of my life. Now I'm on the next adventure: ROADTRIP!!!
PHILOSOPHY
"Passion is never enough; neither is skill. But try." -Toni Morrison
"All I know is that I know nothing." -Socrates
"I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints." -Billy Joel
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing has changed my life! It's made me believe that every stranger is just a friend you haven't met you. Every experience I've had has been unique, beautiful, and led me to think about things I never would have otherwise.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm amazed at every couchsurfing experience I've had. It's wonderful how one minute you are total strangers with someone, and after a long afternoon talking it feels like you have always been apart of her/his life. I've so enjoyed the openness of fellow travelers; it's a gift to be a part of this community!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Anything that has a rating of 85% or higher on Rotten Tomatoes. Right now I'm trying to see lots of foreign movies suggested to me by non-American friends.
Music: A bit of everything (is that what everyone says?), but I particularly like acoustic singer-songwriter type stuff. I also really like listening to new stuff. I love 8tracks.com
Books/Reading: Contemporary literary fiction, travel memoirs, some classics, feminist blogs
