About Me

CURRENT MISSION

New places, new people.

ABOUT ME

It's so hard to talk about yourself! I'm easy to get along with, smiley by nature, always up for new experiences, and good for a laugh! I've got so much energy and don't want to miss out on a thing!

PHILOSOPHY

You can't just watch life go by, if you want something then make a change now to make it happen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I may be able to host, depending on other commitments (these days I seem to live on the road!) but either way I'd love to hang out wherever I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Barcelona and hung out with a people in Manchester, Edinburgh and Manila... I've loved everything and everyone so far!!!

Interests

I LOVE experiencing new cultures and meeting new people and will talk to anyone any everyone. I have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and feel the best way to learn is through social interaction.

I spend as much time with my friends as I can, and I think that (almost) everything in life needs to be tried at least once...

  • culture
  • cooking
  • politics
  • history
  • languages

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm hard one.
Films: Biutiful, Tambien la lluiva, El hijo de la Novia, In Bruges
Music: Bon Iver, Dallas Green, Alexi Murdoch
Books: (almost) everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This isn't a fair question! Most of the amazing things I've done, felt and seen are moments shared with people in random places that would be hard to explain here :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like this section, but not sure what to put as I think what I, and most people, offer in social interaction is so special because it's intangible.

Hmmm...I certainly love to share my thoughts and learn from others on things such as history, culture, politics, current affairs. I write for a living, so if other surfers are interested in modern world history then I'm more than happy to share. I'll be honest though - I can cook a decent meal but don't enjoy cooking... don't expect a three course at mine tehe ;)

In terms of learning, I want to learn everything! I love languages (well, trying to learn them at least) and would be grateful for any push in that area. But I also love everything else that makes up a person - their culture, history, personal experiences.
