ABOUT ME
I'm a free-spirited, happy-go-lucky, adventurous, open-minded, spontaneous, positive woman. I like to make the most of my time and endouvour to enjoy all of lifes' beauties :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals. I try to avoid backpacker hostels on my travels as I want to embark on a journey that is more authentic. It definitely adds to the experience when I can learn about a new place with someone who is a native of the land. I only hope to provide the true Aussie experience to fellow travellers while they are in my home country of Australia!
Interests
Travelling really excites me! I love jumping into the unknown... new cultures, people, environments, and traditions. I am also a big fan of music, art, photography, film, and a variety of sports (surfing, wake-boarding, stand-up paddle boarding, snow boarding, jet-skiing, bike-riding, touch football, beach volleyball, swimming).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in 2007, my best friend and I ran onto a football field in our underwear in front of the 80,000 people in the audience... we were running in a bubble of noise! So much adrenaline pumping through my veins! We spent the night in jail together... it was definitely worth it! Iv'e also loved bungee jumping in New Zealand, skydiving from 14,000ft in Byron Bay, swimming with whale sharks in the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, hiking to Macchu Picchu in Peru, and Canoeing through the Amazon Jungle. Also, the generosity and joy Iv'e experienced from the beautiful people I have encountered in both orphanges and small remote communities in a range of third world countries- this always overwhelms me :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a range of skills that I can share... I am a school teacher, a masseuse, and I love cutting hair. I will happily exchange my English to learn a new language (I particularly want to learn French and Spanish). I also have a lot of stories up my sleeve and would love to hear all about yours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
English, Hospitality (cooking/cleaning/gardening), and I am a lot of fun out on the town - I love to dance and see live music!
