About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently I want to explore different areas of the United States. I want to meet new people and experiences new things. I'm trying to get over being scared to do things that are new to me.

ABOUT ME

Most people find me friendly and out going and maybe a little quirky at times, but who isn't.

PHILOSOPHY

If you don't have the time to do it right, how will you find the time to do it over?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to participate in couch surfing. I've never surfed and I've never hosted. I'm hoping to surf sometime soon.

Interests

Recently I began running which I never thought I would do, but it's definitely growing on me. Bike riding is something I'm trying to get into especially since the weather has been nice. I enjoy working with clay to create sculptural pieces that have a cute attractiveness to them that draws you in as well as a dark creepy side that makes you feel some discomfort as you question how close you should get. Other than that I like playing outside and drinking beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Current Music: Grouplove, Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, The Shins...

Books: The Wholesome Hooker, The Glass Castle, Choke

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one amazing thing I've done in my lifetime is sell all my belongings and drive to a new town in a state I had never been to without knowing anyone. I got to experience a bit of homelessness, the kindness of strangers, and the struggles of starting completely over. It was totally worth it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know how much I could teach someone, but if you are interested in clay/ ceramics I could give you the run down on the processes. :)
