Overview
About Me
We are a family of 4. Our two sons are almost 6 and 3 yo and a lot of fun!
I grew up in France in a multicultural family (French-Guatemalan) and a family of chefs. My experience with Couchsurfing started with my travel through Russia (from Tyumen to Vladivostok). Since then I am convinced that this is the best way to travel and I even converted my husband who became a CS member. (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ryomeer)
Unfortunately, we switch to Airbnb when we moved to the US. We tried to host a few times.
I never really travel till I started to live abroad. Segah and I have lived in the last 10 years in 3 different countries: Russia, USA, and now Israel. Our oldest son was born in Seattle and the second one in Tel Aviv. Besides that, I love talking about food (cooking and eating are my favorite parts), birth and pregnancy, education, ecology, crafts, and a lot of other topics. My favorite hobby is meeting new people because every new person I meet is an inspiration to me.
People say I am curious, my grandma says it is my best quality. I always was an avid learner, well except when it comes to sports... Even after 2 years of practice, I am still not confident when snowboarding!
My family thinks I am a nomad, I would rather say I am a static nomad!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are both big fans of CS! We would like to come back on the CS community as we want our children to travel and meet people. My dad who is the first Couchsurfer I know (he doesn't know about CS though), always told me about his adventure so I want my children to experience this way of travelling: travel and meeting locals.
Please read carefully my profile.
Right now, we are not able to host but I will be happy to show you the city or just meet over a cup of coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like different kinds of music (salsa, rock, hip-hop, indie...)
- books: I used to read a lot of fiction but gradually switched to non-fiction. I am reading right now Ludmila Ulitskaya in Russian.
- Movies: There are so many! I am curious so always ready to watch new movies. When I was in high school, I chose a minor in " cinema and television". Every year we would make a short movie and show it to the film festival my high school organized.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
UPD: I would add giving birth to my sons .
I spent 5 days in Russian train from Vladivostok to Tyumen with Russian soldiers (they were on furlough so they drank a lot of beer, vodka) and when they figured out that I'm French, they spent 4 days , yelling "where is France?" , in the morning waiting for me to tell them what I want to eat... It was fun and a little bit creepy!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: cooking, French, Russian basic phrases, crafts ... what else?
Learn Hebrew, new recipes, and whatever you can teach me!
Share my laughter!
