ABOUT ME

We have both gone back to university to continue studying! James has just started working towards a PhD in Biology and Jess a Masters in Geography.
We're both pretty poor at languages, but are very keen to try and learn!

This summer we travelled from London to Istanbul overland and saw many amazing places and met some incerdible people enroute!

We love cooking and exploring the world, and really enjoy wildlife and the countryside as well as seeing cities. We are always excited to see new places and meet new people.

Always open to meet up with people for a coffee or a drink in a new city :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have surfed and met other couchers on various meet-ups.

Now we are back home we hope that inbetween our studies we will be able to host some surfers visiting London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had an amazing time both surfing and attending couch meet ups on our recent travels, meeting lots of interesting people and creating memories to last us a lifetime :)

Interests

We both really enjoy cooking (and eating!), especially new foreign food that we've never tried before.

We also like experimenting with photography :)

We like wildlife and animals and enjoy walking and hiking in the great outdoors too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A really hard question. One very fond memory that we have is of sharing a sleeping berth on a train in Ukraine with a nice couple. Despite the language barrier, after passing around the phrase book, a few charades and sharing food, we quickly became good friends :)
