About Me

CURRENT MISSION

- Stay creative, ambitious, open minded and happy!
I've been on a creative sabbatical across America, Canada and Europe, visiting and researching creative studios. I'm now living in Berlin running a design community, my freelance business and soaking up all the good vibes in this city.

ABOUT ME

Originally from Melbourne, Australia
I'm a curious, creative and open minded human being, who loves to have a chat, dance, play, discuss and create. My friends say I smile a lot and have a happy infectious personality. I'm positive about many things in life. I have a real passion for art, design, culture, food, conscious living and travel (I love to go on 6 month stints frequently around the globe).
I love to engage with communities, people, dance, poi, do yoga, read and be in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed many times in Europe, America and Canada and have enjoyed every single stay with people. It's such a great way to travel and make connections with like minded people. I'm extremely grateful and passionate about this community and believe that by hosting people in my own cities, is a great way to give back to the wide community and truly make some lifelong friends. I really enjoy chatting and learning about other people's lives and cultures.

Interests

I love people and culture. In particular art and history. I love spending my time wondering the streets and discovering new places I wouldn't have thought existed, and finishing my day meeting up with new friends, cooking, partying, or just hanging out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Love techno, deep house, bit of rock, indie (everything really). But I love most a good beat and DJ.
- Gabriel Ananda, Andhim, Kolektiv Termanstrasse, Max Cooper, Jon Hopkins, Patrice Baumel, Adana Twins, Oliver Koletski, Oliver Schories, Stimming, Julio Bashmore, Dessert Hearts, Solomun, Disclosure .....etc etc etc.....

Books:
The Importance of Being Earnest, Harry Potter

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Watched the Full Moon Eclipse in Oregon
- Hiked the ridges along side the Himalayas in India
- Dangling my feet over the edge of waterfalls in Iceland
- Living in France and Barcelona
- Starting my own Business and curating/fostering a design community in Berlin

Teach, Learn, Share

As I'm now in Berlin I'll have the chance to give back to the Couchsurfing community (which I have so much love for) and host people at my apartment on occasions. Note: I've been super slack on getting people to write reviews after their stays (I have too much fun with them and we all just forget!) so I'm missing a bunch of people in my reference section :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good cook, can teach you how to paint, poi, share some of my strange perspectives on the world, travel tips, thoughts on design, spirituality and just general fun stuff!
