About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel around Asia

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, learn about different cultures and meet people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Always live in the present moment! I strongly believe that enjoying your life and having a positive outlook in life will help you become a happier person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people from all over the world, learn about the cultures from local people, and hear the many exciting stories from fellow travelers or just hang out with new and exciting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a few times, in Bali, Thailand and Taiwan. I have hosted about 12 couchsurfers from Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany and France and I enjoyed both their company and the interesting conversations we have had. It is always nice to meet new people and learn about different cultures, and experiences. I look forward to having more couchsurfing experiences in the future. I have also met a lot of local friends through couchsurfing, who have taught me a great deal about the culture in Korea.

Interests

I really enjoy traveling, but Im sure everyone on this site feels the same way. I love to read, TRAVEL, lounge on beaches, dance and anything adventurous. Also, you can say I am an outdoorsy person who absolutely LOVES to eat. I am definitely a foodie. Sometimes, the most exciting part of my travels is having the opportunity to eat my way through a country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to house, hiphop, reggae, alternative...pretty much anything that has a good beat! My favorite books are Along way home (a must read), Kite runner, The story of edgar sawtelle, Marley and me and The secret life of bees. But most importantly, Game of Thrones!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every place I travel to around the world have amazing sites and things to do so its hard to narrow it down to one thing. But here are the top 10 things I have done that are worth mentioning...

1) Dodging a herd of bulls and people in the streets of Portugal!!
2) Hiking and swimming in the Doodsagar falls on the border of Goa/Bombay in India.
3)White water rafting, surrounded by waterfalls and forests in Bali.
4) Scuba diving in the Perhentian Islands and jungle trekking into one of the oldest rain forests in Malaysia.
5) Hitch hiking my way around Taiwan.
6) Having dinner with the local folks in a small village in Cambodia.
7) Ziplining in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
8) Bike riding through the tea fields in Vietnam.
9) Climbing one of the toughest and highest mountains on the peninsula in South Korea!
10) Eating my way through the streets of Osaka, Japan.

And these are just a few of the amazing things I've seen and done...
