HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am strictly a traveler/surfer, but one day I'd love to host and show people around my beautiful hometown - New York City!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined Couchsurfing in December 2010 and have been traveling and surfing since February 2011! So far I've surfed in London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, The Hague, Antwerp, Lier, and some small cities in Germany - and I've been very lucky to have some amazing experiences!

Intereses

Reading, writing, traveling, typewriters, winking, things of an old-timey nature, coffee and tea, good food, good wine, definitely cheese, picnics, bicycles, cobblestone streets, writing letters and receiving letters, gardens, parks in autumn, the Dust Bowl, colors, colored pencils, feathered hats, cloud-watching, new music, live concerts, old pajamas, my notebook, my pen, and what's happening outside.

Música, películas y libros

Movies: Everything by Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson. Mostly everything by Woody Allen. The film "Amelie" makes my heart sing.
Music: I'm currently listening to the Fleet Foxes. Perennial favorites include Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird, Beirut, TV on the Radio, Grizzly Bear, Regina Spektor, Vampire Weekend, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong. And Tom Waits. God, I love Tom Waits.
Books: Everything by Albert Camus, Ernest Hemingway, and Raymond Carver. Also, I adore short fiction.
