ABOUT ME

Honest, hard worker, couch potato, cat and dog lover, love going out to eat, would like to learn a third language and have a passion for traveling (even though we don't travel much now, due to our busy lives and tight budget).

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is a learning experience and we have to do our best right now, learn everyday and try to be better than we were yesterday. I believe that love can change the world and even though I don't have much faith in humanity, I deep inside believe we can have a better world tomorrow (if people finally decide to unite and fight for it!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just had our first couch surfer from Australia for a weekend and we had a blast!! We didn't surf anyone's couch yet, but cannot wait to get started soon!

I am on couch surfing because I am passionate about travel and I still believe there are plenty of good people out in the world for us to meet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 7 day cruise to the Caribbean with my family that came to visit from Brazil.
Disney World for the second time, but by myself. Sears Tower in Chicago. Camping with my friends while a tornado was around the city in WI, 11 people in a tent, holding its sides to not fly, ahahahha.

I can teach about my culture (Brazilian), a little about my language (Portuguese), share some cool recipes I've tried, give some tips about dog behavior (I am a dog walker/pet sitter), give you some tips about Chicago and even Brazil if you ever plan to visit South America.
