Hi there! My name's Jess, and like many of the people on couchsurfing, I love traveling, and the idea of immersing myself into the many different cultures that exist in the world. I'm always ready for a new adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered couchsurfing after browsing alternative housing options for my trip to Iceland in March 2015. I have done a lot of traveling in the past to places like France, Spain, Italy, Philippines, Mexico, and Montreal, Canada, and I know how expensive housing can get. I'm turning to couchsurfing as a way to really become engaged with the countries I visit without having to run into the highly expensive costs of hotels. I really believe that the best way to learn about the country is to learn from the people who actually live there, and I'm excited to know that couchsurfing is capable of giving me that opportunity.
