ABOUT ME
After graduating from college in May I decided to move to Nashville in search of something new for awhile. Right now I'm looking for a job and just trying to enjoy all that this city has to offer (which is a lot!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Most of my experience has been with hosting. My roommates and I hosted quite a few people from all over and it was so enjoyable. I have surfed a few times and made friends with someone who was new to the city. It's definitely the best way to travel and a great way to meet people.
Interests
I love to dance. Over the past couple years I've gotten really in to cooking and I'm always trying to get closer to being vegetarian. I enjoy yoga although I'm not very good about doing it regularly. Social justice is something I'm passionate about. I also love art and graphic design and would love to get better at it.

Music, Movies, and Books
David Sedaris and Silas House are a couple of my favorite authors. Right now I'm reading Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace and so far it's amazing.
I enjoy a pretty wide range of music. Hip hop and R&B, indie rock, female vocalists, bluegrass, alternative country and classic rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was studying abroad in Granada, Spain I visited the Alhambra palace. I visited once by myself and it was pretty incredible to stand and contemplate in such a sacred place that was over 800 years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to make some awesome vegetarian dishes on a tight budget.
I'd love to learn how to garden and compost. That's a goal I have for next spring.
