About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year-old gal who loves to travel and meet new people. I believe everyone has something to offer, whether it be advice, a new perspective or just knowledge in general. I can be content with a relaxing night in or I can turn it up a few notches and enjoy a night out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite part of traveling is getting to know different types of people. It could be something as simple as your living environment, the clothes you wear, the food you eat, it's all different to me and it's all so fascinating! I really like to get a different feel for a country or city than the hostel environment.

Interests

I love to travel and experience new things...obviously. I love funny people, movies, and shows. I also love making different food and drinks (and consuming it too). I love a good conversation, whether it be deep and meaningful or light and humorous. I enjoy taking photos, reading, drinking wine, and being outdoors. I am a generally happy and easygoing person and love to explore/observe/learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into Indie music lately, but I think I can say that I can appreciate all music. Im just not into the thrashing death metal. Sorry. Fun Fact, if you know Bon Iver, you should know that he(Justin Vernon) is from Eau Claire(The city I live in).

As for books, I just read Into the Abyss as well as WILD. Both were great reads. I also like the Dalai Lama's books, they are very insightful.

As far as movies, I hate to say it but I hardly watch movies.(but I am not opposed!) I tend to lean more towards TV series. Some favorites are: How I met your Mother, New girl, Dexter, The Following, That 70s Show, Californication, and Shameless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ONE amazing thing? Well I would like to think that traveling around Europe for a few months is pretty amazing. I've also done this trip completely gluten free, which a huge accomplishment if you ask me. It wasn't easy but I did it...I have an allergy to it, so I actually had to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can clean, offer good conversation, share music(I have a huge variety), be a dining or drinking companion, and listen too any business ordeals you might have, and maybe help you solve them as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand
