About Me
MA Student in Sheffield!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know like-minded, open-hearted people with whom I can share a wonder and curiosity for this incredible world.
Interests
I love exploring new cities, trying local delicacies, having long discussions over good food, DANCING, hiking, swimming, watching wildlife, learning new languages... and many more things!
I also follow Formula 1 and always happy to find something to discuss on that topic!
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a wide range of musical tastes but most often listen to 1960s soul, 1970s disco, 1980s electronica, and current day nu-disco and indie electronica. Having said that, I enjoy most types of music and am pretty open-minded to recommendations too.
I don't watch a lot of films but I enjoy thrillers, dramas and anything that has yummy cinematography.
I almost always have a book on the go; I like choosing fiction that's set in a defined place and time in history, so that I can sort of learn something about another culture or historical event whilst enjoying a good story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked in the Nepalese Himalayas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have worked as an English teacher and have also taught German - and am always happy to pass on what I can! I also know my way around a few yoga moves and the basics of how to tend to a vegetable garden.
