Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to embrace my freedom and experience as much of the world as I can
ABOUT ME
adventurous but cautious, outgoing but independent, dreamy but grounded...
I've been living a location independent-ish lifestyle for about 2 and a half years, running my business from wherever I find myself: New Orleans, Vermont, Dominican Republic, Thailand, New York. I can usually find something to love about everyone and everywhere.
PHILOSOPHY
I stole it from the bible: If you've gotten a lot, a lot is expected of you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Opening my heart and mind to all kinds of people and experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just one "official" couchsurfing experience so far but it was great! My partner ( a veteran couchsurfer) and I stayed with a fantastic couple in Mexico City who took amazing care of us (I like to think we reciprocated!). I've also done plenty of home-staying as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cape Verde, an exchange student in Germany and Costa Rica, and a friend of plenty of people I love to go see.
Interests
walking, talking, drinking, thinking. running my own business as a professional nosy-bones. loving my dog. traveling and dreaming.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've read 48 books this year! Some recent favorites: Gone Girl (better than the movie!) and My Korean Deli (I love memoirs).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Falling on my face in mile 22 of the New York City marathon (and still finishing!).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can: juggle, speak pretty good Spanish, talk about heath and fitness all day long, tell crazy stories about moderating focus groups and teaching 7th grade.
