About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet people, make friends and connections from all over the world to fill that exploring and socializing void in my being. Also be that infectious, fun, and interesting person who can inspire you to learn something about life or yourself.

ABOUT ME

Here goes...I'm outgoing, fun, adventurous, spontaneous, romantic, funny, open minded, techy, geeky, fast thinking, detail oriented, great planning, creative, musical, welcoming, passionate, outdoorsy, laid back, easy going person. I am the kind of person who can be put in a room alone and make ten friends, but I also like to be one on one and learn other people. I love to be outside on nice days and have a passion for singing, hiking and biking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've known a couple people to have good experiences and I hope I can find awesome people to share similar experiences with.

Interests

Well, I'm a professional singer with an MA in Music who loves karaoke and lead singing in bands or jamming. I love cooking and generally try to eat healthy. I play a world game called Ingress, which has an awesome community of people. I am also a pc gamer and a bit of a techy/geek. Not a big drinker, but def. love to socialize. I like all kinds of action and thinker movies. pretty much everything from Marvel Comics Movies to Moulin Rouge, Fight Club, Matrix, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Princess Bride, some love movies and some stupid humor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performed singing as Aretha Franklin in front of 2000 people alone!

Teach, Learn, Share

A problem is never too big or too small to ask for help. I have learned in my life that of all the times I had to worry about whether I should ask for help or not and said ,"I can do this alone (it's nothing to worry about, or the opposing, it's too big to put a burden on someone else)" that when I am secure enough with myself to ask for help, I have always been happier with the outcome and built a stronger bond with that person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, most people find me funny, so at the very least, some good laughs. I can point you in the direction of several good hikes in the area well as biking routes. I can also tell you a ton about lower NY, including the city, Long Island and Westchester Counties since I've lived all over. I'm a great tour guide!
