About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get as much experience in this life as I possibly can.. Through travelling, meeting new people, volunteer work, trying out different jobs, playing new sports. I want to get involved in as much as I can!

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as friendly, optimistic, ambitious, up for a laugh and polite (I promise not to come in and take over your home!). I am a sport enthusiast and play rugby for my university. We are currently ranked number 1 in Britain after winning the BUCS championships earlier this year at Twickenham.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first couchsurfing experience that I had wasn't really a pleasant one. A friend and I stayed with some host's in Dubai, which was the first country that we arrived in after leaving the UK for our round the world trip. I was 18 and my friend was 20, we stayed with the hosts for 3 days and the first 2 days were great! They drove us around the city, took us to restaurants and told us so much the country. Unfortunately on the last night, they went too far and seemed to think that we wanted more than just a bed for the night. During the rest of trip, we mainly met people in the day and didn't need to couch surf but the second time that we did it in LA, USA, the guy was a great host and we had such a good time. I have faith that most people on this website are genuine and I look forward to meeting people!

Interests

I want to travel as many different countries as I can, doing it in the best possible way by couch surfing and hitch hiking. It's definitely the best way to meet people! I love to play pretty much any sport, I have a huge passion for it. I returned from travelling for 10 months in 2013 to a few different countries including Dubai, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Tahiti and America. I then travelled Ireland before making the last minute decision to study Law at University, and travel in between as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read, I will give anything a try but I always find myself reading the Harry Potter books over and over again. When it comes to music, I always find it hard to tell people the category of music that I like because I tend to just listen to anything that sounds good to me which can be in so many different categories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being selected to represent my University and Great Britain in the European rugby 7's Championships in Hungary this year.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, French Polynesia, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States
